More than 3.7 million unemployed individuals in Indonesia are vocational and secondary school graduates. This concerning figure reflects a mismatch between graduates’ competencies and the skills required by the industry, particularly in the vocational sector.
Revitalizing vocational education is crucial to addressing this challenge. Training programs must be aligned with market needs, equipping students with relevant skills, knowledge, and mindsets. By doing so, we can enhance employability and bridge the gap between education and the workforce.

For 25 years, YCAB Foundation has been committed to making impactful interventions in the lives of underprivileged youth through the Youth Employment Program, which provides vocational skills and soft skills training centered on job market needs, along with guidance towards employment. We believe that empowering youth economically can improve the quality of life for them and their families.
Together with the Charity Runners of YCAB Foundation at the Maybank Marathon, we invite the public to support the sustainability of the Youth Employment Program to reach over 200 young people in West Java. Every donation collected will be allocated for training and job placement assistance, ensuring that underprivileged youth can secure decent employment.
