Kemal’s Message: Big Effort to Learn for Big Opportunities to Brighten Your Future

Posted on January 15, 2014

Kemal Malik is now an insurance marketer at Japanese Insurance Company, namely Tokio Marine Indonesia. Though his father passed away when he was 17 years old, it did not cast him down to make the best of his life, for the sake of his mother and six older sisters. Being the last member of the family, too, did not mean his life has to be easier.

Seriously using the opportunity to enroll as a student of Rumah Belajar has brought Kemal to his current employment, and attained scholarship to continue his study at Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Resiko Asuransi (STIMRA).

Through this opportunity Kemal wants to encourage all of us to seriously learn English as first foreign language that will enable us to communicate in an international working environment. Malik stated, “Back then, I was not really interested in learning English. However as I currently work at a Japanese company, and everybody speaks English to communicate with each other, I truly understood why comprehending English is so essential.”

When Kemal was asked upon his dream, he said, “When I was at elementary school, I wanted to become a doctor to help others. I could not stand watching people die without proper help. Hence, now I want to be a successful person, I want to have a lot of money to help people in need.”

Advising other students of Rumah Belajar, “Just like me, I had an opportunity to study, and finally work, so you can also have the same opportunity. If you wish to work at a multinational company, there will be an English test. If you seek to enroll as a university student, English test is also compulsory. Therefore, if you learn English seriously, there are so many big opportunities ahead you!”
