Septiliana

Posted on April 10, 2011

My name is Septiliana and people call me Septi. I am now 15 years old and I come from Yogyakarta although my dad comes from Magelang. Now I live in Jl. Kemiri RT 02/RW012 No. 47 in Jakarta Barat. My family consists of 5 people who are my parents, my older brother, me, and my younger sister.

When I get home from school, I go straight to my usual chores before I get a bit of free time. When I do get the time, I love to read and listen to music from the radio. My hobbies are to play basketball since I was raised under the principle that being healthy is important. To my family, the most important values are cleanliness, healthiness, and supporting one another. One thing that makes me happy is when I visit my grandparents every month. I very a close relationship with them.  When I grow up, I do not know what I want to be but I do know that I want to be successful in whatever I do. Because of this, I have learned to treasure school very much.

Before I enrolled in Rumah Belajar, I was not able to continue my schooling in another school because the cost was too high for my parents to support. When this happened, my parents were very sad that they could not support me. However, when I enrolled to Rumah Belajar, I am happier now. This is because I get to take courses such as English and Computer. I think that this will go a long way in making me a successful person when I grow up and also to make my parents proud.
