Anak Bangsa Siap Berkarya (ABSB), A Program with HSBC Indonesia Reached More Than 10.000 Students Around Indonesia

Anak Bangsa Siap Berkarya (ABSB) is a collaboration between YCAB and HSBC to create a generation of young people who are ready to work and ready to become entrepreneurs while reducing unemployment. Since its inception in 2015, ABSB has recruited tens of thousands of participants from 85 of schools in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Semarang and Medan. SMK students who take part in this program can make a CV to apply for jobs, and also develop their business well.

At the end of 2020, Anak Bangsa Ready To Work (ABSB) is done in 5 cities in Indonesia, successfully reaching out to thousands of people. In Jakarta alone, 1.090 people received help, in Semarang 1.189 people, in Bandung 3.293 people, in Surabaya 922 people, and in Medan 3.551 people.

Anak Bangsa Siap Berkarya (ABSB) recruited 10045 participants from 85 schools. Out of those participants, 3320 students came up with new business ideas, 664 students received business capital, and 3883 students registered and submitted their CVs to the job portal.

Let’s keep working hard together to help youth reach their fullest potential and become independent despite their hardship. Let’s become an extension of goodness to those in need.
