13th Years Anniversary of YCAB Foundation with 1,300 Microfinance Clients

Founder/CEO YCAB Foundation Veronica Colondam, accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Advisor YCAB Foundation M. Farhan, during the sharing session with microfinance clients about the program on 13 August 2012. This year, YCAB Foundation organized a fast-breaking and gathering with its partners and 1,300 representatives of microfinance clients to celebrate its 13th years’ anniversary. The event also gave opportunities for the clients to share their experiences in microfinance program.
Micro loans are extended to the mothers of our students and the women micro entrepreneurs
The area coordinator of microfinance program Agustiawan give some briefings and updates about the program to 1,300 microloan clients after the sharing session with Founder/CEO YCAB Foundation. Micro loans are extended to the mothers of our students and the women micro entrepreneurs in their communities. The idea is to create a stable income to the families of our students so they can focus in their study.

Founder/CEO YCAB Foundation Veronica Colondam and the Chairman of the Board of Advisor YCAB Foundation M. Farhan, were cutting the “tumpeng” (the traditional rice dish for celebrations) as a symbol of gratitude for the 13 years of YCAB journey. On its 13th anniversary, YCAB has succeeded in reaching 1.9 million youth through drugs prevention and healthy lifestyle promotion, educating 22,922 students through 28 Rumah Belajar (House of Learning), and empowering 7,373 microloan clients through microfinance program.
