YCAB Foundation, for the fourth consecutive year, held “Angel of Change” as part of its annual social fundraising activities. Launched in 2009, the activity was initiated to inspire individuals and corporations in Indonesia to contribute in facilitating underprivileged youths pursue their education. For the second time running, Angel of Change “Inside Fast and Furious” was supported by PT. Multistrada Arah Sarana and Cavallino Nero. A total of 350 donors participated in the fundraising initiative On December 14, 2013 at the Sentul International Circuit.
As creative as it has always been, Angel of Change “Inside Fast and Furious” invited the first 100 visitors (donors) to ride either Ferrari or Porsche for three laps, assisted by professional racer. The professional racers that participated at Angel of Change were Renaldi Hutasoit, Uthan Sadikin, Wing Wibowo, Adrian Trisura, Taufan Sucahyo, Rendison Joesno, Bambang Hutomo, Rudy Laksmana, Sunny Suparto, and Rudy RS. In addition to giving donation, the donors who came together with their wife, and teen children were given a distinguished opportunity that challenged their adrenaline rush.
Chairman of the Board of Advisors of YCAB Foundation, Muhammad Farhan, thanked all stakeholders who had supported the event, saying: “In total, the activity has successfully gathered IDR 1 billion, which means 150 underprivileged youths will be able to obtain education provision for a year.” Through its three program pillars, Healthy Lifestyle Promotion (HeLP), House of Learning and Development (HoLD), and Hands-on Operational and Entrepreneurship (HOpE), YCAB Foundation continues its commitment to aid underprivileged youths, its holistic approach covering all facets of education, health, and entrepreneurship.
