Angel of Change is an annual YCAB social fundraising event. Angel of Change was launched in 2009 to inspire individuals and companies in Indonesia to invest in the education of Indonesian children. We believe by providing education for the underprivileged youths and those who dropped out of school, we will be able to help break the cycle of poverty and create advancement for the country.
About 300 guests attended the event including the YCAB’s partners and ambassadors as well as the business partners of PT Multistrada Arah Sarana. It took place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Pacific Place, Jakarta. Themed “Giving Hope for Better Indonesia”, Angel of Change Night 2013 also invited some graduates of Rumah Belajar and asked them to share their success story after they became students at Rumah Belajar, so people would know that their support has been really meaningful and given these students new hope and better future.

A number of corporations including Samsung, Grasindo, Media Group, Granton, and Mothercare also participated by sponsoring the Angel of Change Night event.
Founder/CEO YCAB Foundation Veronica Colondam thanked everyone – individuals, sponsors, and donators who keep on supporting YCAB along this time. She said, “We are here to bring hope and opportunity to underprivileged people and we focus on youth development. Even if we can’t change the whole world, we want to change the world of at least one person. YCAB Foundation enables youths to be independent through economic empowerment and education. Thus, we believe in the power of education to change the world, but for education to be in place, economic empowerment is needed.”
