Campaign “LIVING WITH HIV” Together With Liverpool Legend

Posted on July 23, 2013

Standard Chartered Bank, celebrating it’s 150th year in Indonesia, joins with legendary Liverpool FC (LFC) midfielder, Dietmar “Didi” Hamann and YCAB Foundation in educating 400 senior high school (SMAK) students about HIV/AIDS in Penabur, Bandung, part of the “Living with HIV” campaign. A total of 40 Standard Chartered Bank employees participated as volunteers in this event along with the students who, having been trained by YCAB’s HeLP team, gave campaigns in every class they visited.

Country Head of Corporate Affairs for Standard Chartered Bank (Indonesia), Arno Kermaputra, conveys how important it is to know about HIV/AIDS and its’ related dangers. This event not only provided football training to students but also gave them knowledge and awareness of HIV/AIDS.

Didi Hamann demonstrates the holistic approach to health-awareness by performing to around 40 students, in a lesson about the techniques of the game of football. Football is massively popular throughout Indonesia and can be a useful tool for instilling a positive body, soul and spirit in the students taking part.

"Apart from the free survey software, we also have access to QuestionPro's free survey templates.
We've found many of them useful and powerful to collect insights from various stakeholders of our organization."
