Closing Ceremony of “Living with HIV/AIDS” Program by Standard Chartered Bank

The HIV/AIDS campaign: “Living with HIV” by YCAB Foundation and Standard Chartered Bank started in November 2011 by the end of this month will have reached more than 9,000 students in 11 schools in Jakarta. State Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Linda Gumelar started the signing pledge of commitment to prevent HIV/AIDS in Indonesia. YCAB Foundation and Standard Chartered Bank will continue the program and targets to reach more than 10,000 students in Jakarta and Bandung until 2013. Standard Chartered Bank will also develop a special website (www.vir.us) about HIV/AIDS, which will be presented in animation version and various languages. CEO Standard Chartered Bank Tom Aaker and State Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Linda Gumelar observing the HIV/AIDS campaign by the HIV/AIDS ambassadors and SCB employees to about 650 students in SMPN 8 Jakarta. The campaign in SMPN 8 was also supported by 40 SCB employees who participated in employee volunteerism program.
