Jakarta, 13 June 2015 – With continued commitment from Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia (CCAI) towards community development especially in the education sector, some of CCAI’s employees joined YCAB Foundation’s Learning Centre refurbishment project. Volunteers from CCAI painted 2 Learning Centres, which are located in Duri Kepa and Manggarai.
“We hope that the learning centre refurbishment project will provide a more comfortable atmosphere in the class to optimize the learning process,” says Veronica Colondam, who founded YCAB 16 years ago. “We are very grateful that our efforts to participate in enriching the nation’s next generation runs smoothly, and even more solid. Of course, part of this success has been due to the great cooperation with various parties who have aligned with our vision to build the nation through education, including Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia who have helped us to paint two YCAB learning centres in Jakarta today.”
Support to YCAB is included in the community pillars of CCAI which are Community, Environment, and Marketplace. CCAI are committed to integrate Corporate Social Responsibility Pillars and Sustainability in Indonesia. Besides giving support to YCAB, CCAI has initiated some CSR programs in the education sector, such as workshops and scholarships for local communities surround CCAI’s operational factories.
