Disney collaboration with YCAB Foundation Invites 600 students saw the action of Mowgli and his friends
Jakarta, April 18 2016 – Walt Disney Studios held a movie screening activities with YCAB Foundation. The movie was ‘The Jungle Book’, film revive the classic tale and legendary works of Rudyard Kipling. A total of 600 students joined in the activities held in several theaters in Jakarta, such as Kota Kasablanka, Senayan City, and Gandaria City on April 10, 2016.
“The Jungle Book taught many things about life. This activity is one of the initiatives of Walt Disney to get closer with children in Indonesia. Together with YCAB Foundation, I hope this opportunity can inspire Indonesian children with positive things, “said Fitra Rifai, Head of Marketing Studios The Walt Disney Studios.
“We are very happy to be part of Disney’s initiative. I represent children from YCAB Learning Center who watch The Jungle Book to thank Disney for this opportunity. This activity is also a weekend recreational facilities for our students which come from various Learning Center in Jakarta, “added Muhammad Farhan, Secretary General YCAB Foundation.
This activity aimed to inspire children about the meaning of courage and struggle. While wearing clothing bearing the image of The Jungle Book, hundreds of children are seen very keen to watch the film. They were also given a chance to take pictures in The Jungle Book 3D Trick Art.
At this moment, hundreds of children could be witnessing the courage of the main characters from the movie The Jungle Book, Mowgli. Raised by wolves and interact with other animals, Mowgli build a deep relationship with the forest as his own. But Mowgli found that he was no longer welcome in the forest until he was forced to leave the forest and face challenging journey.
