Jakarta, June 12 2015 – Hectic schedules do not stop volunteers from Intel Indonesia to share and give their care to others who are less fortunate. Through this program,  employees of Intel Inside ‘Big Heart Outside’ work together hand in hand with YCAB Foundation to volunteer and express their care by painting YCAB Foundation school walls in Duri Kepa, West Jakarta.

The volunteers from Intel Indonesia helped to do some repainting at the YCAB Foundation school in Jakarta, to give students a better atmosphere while they are studying. It provides students with brighter surroundings, which will make learning more exciting for them.

“This event was part of a larger event that is called ‘Intel For Good’, where employees dedicate their time and effort to give back to the community, mainly focusing on education. And for us, YCAB Foundation is very inspiring, and gives hope for children, and we are happy to be apart of the YCAB Foundation event.” Said Harry K Nugraha, Country Manager Intel Indonesia.

“We very much appreciate this volunteering event that has taken place by Intel Indonesia. Even if this event might sound easy and simple, it is the dedication that counts throughout the whole process by Intel Indonesia’s volunteers towards the future young generations.  We also hope that Intel Indonesia can tutor students about technology at the YCAB Foundation school.” Said Anton Suwoto, Chief Strategy Officer YCAB Foundation.

In addition to staff volunteers, some of the leaders from Intel Indonesia also participated in this event, including, Harry K. Nugraha – Country Manager Intel Indonesia Corp; Hermawan Sutanto – Sales Director Intel Indonesia; and Deva Rachman – Corporate Affairs Director Intel Indonesia. They seemed to be very enthusiastic to be apart of the volunteering event.

During the event, Intel Indonesia also donated 10 tablets and 10 books which are translated into, english. The donation was given by Harry K. Nugraha, Country Manager Intel Indonesia Corp to Anton Suwoto, Chief Strategy Officer YCAB Foundation.

The event was ended with music by an orchestra from the school and a speech by Veronica Colondam, CEO & Founder YCAB Foundation and YCAB Foundation school in Duri Kepa.

Once again, Thank you Intel Indonesia!

We've found many of them useful and powerful to collect insights from various stakeholders of our organization."
