Forbes Indonesia’s Leadership Forum: Indonesia’s Most Inspiring Women

On May 23rd 2013, YCAB Founder/CEO Veronica Colondam was invited as a speaker at Forbes Indonesia’s Leadership Forum as one of Indonesian Inspiring Women 2013. The event was held at JS Luwansa Hotel.

YCAB Founder/CEO Veronica Colondam talked about the role of women as leaders in the world. The panel discussed about the topic “The Boardroom and Beyond: Women Leaders in Indonesia” and how women are rising to leadership positions in many fields including prominent roles in the business community. The event also talked about how women achieve this success and its implications for the Indonesian economy, as well as the challenges they face along the way.

The panel was moderated by Cecilia Zecha, Senior Director, Programming, Forbes Asia. Other invited speakers include Mayor of Surabaya Tri Rismaharini, Chairman of New Indonesia National Sovereignty Yenny Wahid, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Mari E. Pangestu, and Founder of Martha Tilaar Group Martha Tilaar, among others.
