Friends of YCAB Share Experience and Story at Morning Inspiration

Posted on August 11, 2016

Success and big name do not come on their own. This was the main theme in the event “Morning Inspiration” on August 7, 2016, held in Casadina Kitchen and Bakery, involving children from Rumah Belajar YCAB. “Morning Inspiration” is a part of a series of events in the celebration of YCAB 17th anniversary with the theme of #ExtensionofGoodness.

“It is not about how long we live, but it is about how our life is making a difference. (When we are) dead, we should be “empty”, in a sense that we have given all that we’ve got to others to be more useful,” says J-Flow, one of speakers in the talk show.

Hard work and creativity towards a brighter future was also the main theme in this activity. During the event that took place in three sessions, there were a lot of motivational words posed by the speakers. One was from Gunawan Susanto, the CEO of IBM Indonesia, that discipline and hard work  go hand-in-hand with delayed gratification.

Through these activities, students of Rumah Belajar YCAB are expected to become the next generation that is not only discipline, but also creative and innovative. Therefore, we can live to make positive impact in the society, which is what becoming #ExtensionOfGoodness is all about.
