Congratulations to i-SERVE Vaccine for hitting a great milestone! One hundred thousand vaccines have been given to vaccine participants in Jakarta and West Java. This celebratory number includes first, second, and booster jabs of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Starting in March 2021, YCAB Foundation worked side by side with the government to accelerate the vaccination rollout for the public. Moreover, YCAB Foundation collaborated with various social institutions and private parties to organize activities to enable access to vaccination for the community. With numerous stakeholders, namely Accenture Indonesia, PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia, Danone Indonesia, and Opportunity International Australia, i-SERVE Vaccine in Jakarta was supported by: Puskesmas Kecamatan Kebon Jeruk, Terra Clinic supported by Bali United, the Ministry of Health, the DKI Jakarta Health Service, the Government of DKI Jakarta, Banten Provincial Health Office, and Serang City Hospital. And in West Java, Ministry of Health, Germas, West Java Provincial Government, Bandung City Government, Bandung City Health Office, Dekranasda Bandung, Persib Bandung, West Java PUSDAI, Bandung City MUI, West Java INDAG, Bandung City DISDAGIN, Perumda Pasar Bandung, Amazing Art & Games, and Hotel Salis.
This vaccination program was held in major cities in Indonesia targeting the public, the marginalized, and the vulnerable. i-SERVE Vaccine prepared drive-thru routes and a series of protocols for their vaccine participants. In addition to that, i-SERVE Vaccine also provides tents and special routes for vaccination participants who arrived on foot or have limited mobility. Furthermore, free transportation was also accessible to facilitate the needs of people with disabilities.
Marking its one year on March 31st, 2022, i-SERVE Vaccine closed its service with a great number from the field. Accumulatively, i-SERVE Vaccine had successfully vaccinated over 2,800 people with disabilities across Jakarta and West Java.
“100,000 is indeed a remarkable number. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and hard work that our staff and volunteers had shown over the past year. Thank you for staying safe, and protecting yourself and your loved ones by trusting us as your vaccination provider. Thank you for being a part of our success.”, shared Veronica Colondam, Founder and CEO of YCAB Foundation.
YCAB Foundation thanks YOU for your endless support in what we do.
