Inauguration of Computer Mobile Class CIMB Niaga

Symbolized Donation for Mobil Belajar
Compliance, Corporate Affairs & Legal Director of CIMB Niaga Wulan Tumbelaka giving the symbolized donation for Mobil Belajar (a mini bus converted into computer lab) to YCAB Secretary General Iskandar Irwan Hukom, witnessed by Founder/CEO YCAB Veronica Colondam and Vice CEO CIMB Niaga Catherine Hadiman. The donation was allocated for program set up and equipments. The program is targeted to reach 240 underprivileged students including school drop outs in three areas: East Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Tangerang.

Mobil Belajar is equipped with 13 laptops and internet facility. The curriculum is based on the module of IT course program and graduates are certified by Binus University which has been in partnership with YCAB since 2004.

Founder/CEO YCAB Veronica said that the program is the first social innovation which introduces a model of sustainable and certified mobile-computer lab targeted to underprivileged schools.

Mobil Belajar CIMB Niaga classroom – providing access for underprivileged children to computer course where they learn computer skills. Mobil Belajar presently reaches areas in Jakarta and Tangerang with further expansion plans to increase computer literacy in Indonesia.
