Jakarta, January 27th, 2016 – It was 8 months ago, when employees of Intel Indonesia dedicated their time in a volunteering program called “Intel For Good”. They helped in repainting our Rumah Belajar (Learning Center) in Duri Kepa, West Jakarta. Their passion to help under-privileged youth in Indonesia has not yet ended. Intel Indonesia donated 15 computers and 5 laptops for the operational of YCAB Foundation and Rumah Belajar.
“Realizing the importance of technology in this era, especially for youth, it is such an honor for YCAB Foundation that a giant technology corporation like Intel Indonesia is helping us by donating a sets of hardware such as PC’s and laptops. This partnership between YCAB with a big technological company like Intel Indonesia shows the level of trust that the big corporate have for YCAB and its programs,” stated by Anton Suwoto, Chief Strategy Officer, YCAB Foundation.
“It was started with an employee volunteer program, donating our man-hours to paint the classes at YCAB Foundation. Not only was it a fun and engaging event, but also it was a blast to see how YCAB is making an impact to the Youths through skill development for a better future. At Intel, we believe on technology impact to our Youths as well. Hence, we are so excited to extend the collaboration with YCAB through our hardware donation to participate in increasing technology skills development programs at YCAB!” – Hermawan Sutanto, Sales Director, Intel Indonesia
