Posted on July 14, 2012

Head of Microfinance Department Dominikus Rahmat (third from right) opened the “Love and Hope for Indonesia”, accompanied by Deputy to CEO Strategic and Development Millany Halim (fourth from right), and owner of Apotik Melawai Arianti Darmawan (second from right). The event was held on 14 July 2012 in Petamburan Tanah Abang, and was also sponsored by PT. Unilever Indonesia. The event aimed to educate microfinance clients about health, hygiene, sanitation, and birth control.
One of the children of microfinance clients was getting a free dental examination during the event. Apart of giving the education about health, hygiene, sanitation, and birth control to the microfinance clients, the event also provided a free dental examination to more than 30 people.
YCAB Foundation and Apotik Melawai team took a picture together with 230 microfinance clients after the event. YCAB Foundation and Apotik Melawai will continue the program by providing regular counseling about health to microfinance clients.
