Menuju Sukses: Accenture’s Students Consultancy at YCAB Rumah Belajar

As one of the leading international management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company, Accenture is committed to balance professional work and social responsibility though investing time, funds, and additional resources to improve the communities where their employees work and live.

Accenture has been partnering with YCAB Foundation in Pack n’ Go program, since 2013. This program brings computer literacy to YCAB Microfinance areas, and offer computer classes to YCAB Microfinance beneficiaries’ children. This program has reached hundreds of students. In addition to that, Accenture Indonesia is also committed to extend this initiative, through capacity building training by Accenture’s staff to students at Pack n Go class, particularly to high school students.

Capacity Building
The capacity building training, attended by 21 students and held on January 18, 2014, focuses on preparing students with soft skills and knowledge on types of jobs available in the market, skills needed to get a job, as well as how important is contribute to others through our work. Capacity building training included a shared session by Accenture’s staff.
Sharing Session
Regita, one of our learning center graduates who is currently working and going to college part time, in order to stimulate and engage students to excel in their everyday’s work.
Pack & Go Capacity Building
This capacity building training will continue for Pack n’ Go students 3 times per term, and will be dealing with different topics during each meeting. Through this capacity building activity, both, Accenture Indonesia and YCAB Foundation hope to enrich and enlighten the students on how to target available jobs in the market, as well as to inspire them to become entrepreneurs.
