Microsoft YouthSpark is a global initiative to increase access for all youth to learn computer science, empowering them to achieve more for themselves, their families, and their communities. In 4 years, Microsoft has been providing a variety of these opportunities to more than 300 million young people in the world. Many of them are already able to provide a change not only in their own lives but also into other people’s lives and make a real impact in the community. Since 2013, Microsoft is working with YCAB Foundation to hold YouthSpark in Indonesia, where YCAB itself focuses on the development and empowerment of young people. This program focuses on providing the opportunity for young people to learn programming, as well as trying to apply their creative ideas using Kodu application from Microsoft.
