Nayaka received his musical studies from Dr. Kuei Pin Yeo at Yayasan Musik Jakarta Music School. He started playing the piano at age 5 with the encouragement from his parents and since then he has shown himself to be a promising young artist with a unique musicality.

A talented pianist and an altruist, Nayaka supports YCAB Foundation in many of its social activities for a good cause. In the summer of 2012, 2013, and 2014, Nayaka was actively involved in several of the foundation’s projects to serve the underprivileged through its youth development programs. In June 2014, he performed at YCAB’s annual event, The Angel of Change Night: Symphony of Hope at the Kempinski Ball Hotel Ballroom in Jakarta. With YCAB Foundation, Nayaka has created a publication describing his experiences of helping local people in Tanah Abang area in Jakarta. Moreover, Nayaka has also traveled to Sukabumi and the Pilippines to help with building of a school and teaching mathematics and English. Eager to continue to lend a hand to the underprivileged, especially teenagers and kids with whom he can relate, Nayaka is grateful for the privileges and luxuries he has been raised with in his family.

At the concert, Nayaka played Chopin Piano Concerto No 1 followed by “All of Me” by John Legend with a full orchestra. All proceeds from the concert will benefit YCAB Foundation.
