Post New York Marathon hosted by US Embassy

The United States Ambassador to Indonesia Mr. Scot Marciel
The United States Ambassador to Indonesia Mr. Scot Marciel gave his opening remarks during the discussion on New York Marathon in @america, Pacific Place on 17 December 2011. In relations to the running for charity, the US Embassy host the event: “From the Big Durian to the Big Apple” and it was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia, donors for Berlari Untuk Berbagi (Running to Share), the Indonesian runners and media.

YCAB Foundation is one of the Berlari Untuk Berbagi beneficiaries. Almost half a million dollar was raised in this campaign will be used in the YCAB’s social investment program targeted to empower 2,500 female micro entrepreneurs.
