Project O: Revive Nostalgic Night

Posted on October 10, 2012

Between February and September this year, the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology’s Indonesian Student Association (RMIT’s ISA, best known as PPIA RMIT ) has been campaigning the Project O: Revive.  It is a project initiated by the students to help and support YCAB’s program and a charity evening was held on 29 September 2012 in Melbourne.  The cash raised from the fundraising efforts during the period will be donated to YCAB for the HoLD (House of Learning Development) program, also known as Rumah Belajar where school drop-outs and under privileged children can continue their education, receive vocational training and job placement assistance.

Last year’s participants collaborated in the opening of Project O: Revive Nostalgic Night on 29 September 2012. The band sang and danced with the “back to school” theme. Several performers included Maggie Mae Band, Hendrawan Mulyono (Singer) and Echo Dance
Co-Project Managers Project O: Revive Tracy Indra Kusuma and Ken Hendarto received the symbolized donation from President of PPIA RMIT University Audira Amanda. Project O: Revive is a charity night in which the PPIA RMIT University invited students to remember their school memories and to give donation to YCAB Foundation through admission ticket.
For the closing performance, The Changcuters performed in front of the audiences at the charity night held by Project O: Revive on 29 September 2012.
