“Real Milk for Hope”, a Campaign by Greenfields to Support YCAB Foundation

Greenfields, a leading fresh milk manufacturer, selected YCAB Foundation as the beneficiary of their campaign “Real Milk for Hope”. The campaign is to help improve the health of indonesian children by proving better nutritions. The campaign will involve the Greenfields’ customers via their program in which every liter of milk purchased, one liter will be donated to the under previleged children under YCAB Foundation. On 26 September 2012, Greenfields, YCAB Foundation and hundreds of students of SD Negeri 01 Menteng celebrated the World School Milk Day (WSMD) to promote the nutrition improvement of school kids in Indonesia. The students and some of YCAB’s students drank the fresh milk together. Achmadi drank milk together with the kids and were ready to release “The Balloons of Hope” to celebrate the WSMD. They and hundreds of children wrote their hopes on the paper attached to the balloons that were released to the delight of the kids. The World School Milk Day was initiated by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in 2000 and is celebrated every last Wednesday of September. The Head of Marketing and Sales PT Greenfields Indonesia Mr. Jan Gerst Vestisen (right) passed the fresh milk in new pakcaging to Chief of Development and Communications Officer YCAB Foundation Ira Guntur, to campaign the campaign “Real Milk for Hope”. The campaign will start on 1 October 2012 and end on 15 November 2012. Greenfields will donate 10.000 liters milk to the YCAB’s students.
