Samsung Electronics Indonesia is partnering with YCAB Foundation to provide a basic electrical engineering course at Rumah Belajar targeting underprivileged Senior High School students. In Rumah Belajar Samsung, the students will learn about electronics skills, i.e. mobile phone reparation in a one year program. Once they graduate, the students will have the opportunity to take part in the internship program in PT. Samsung Indonesia. In 2012, YCAB and Samsung will open new electrical engineering classes, i.e. home appliances and computer service, taking place in two Rumah Belajar Samsung located in Cikarang and Duta Buntu, West Jakarta. The graduates will get certificates from a credible institution, so they will have skills when entering the job market or have access to seed capital if they want to become an entrepreneur for electronic services.
