Students of PKBM Cinta Anak Bangsa, Thriving and Conquering Challenges Upon Entering the Work Force

Posted on September 28, 2021

Faces of Rumah Belajar students who are learning happily with their friends

A successful educational institution is not complete without celebrating the success of its students. YCAB Foundation’s Rumah Belajar envisioned a world where quality education is accessible to all and our students to be excellent pioneers wherever they are.

Here are some of our students’ stories over the years:

Abdul Majid

Abdul Majid was selected to join a programming scholarship by YCAB Foundation and Hacktiv8. With a span time of 3 months, he was taught basic programming skills by the CEO of Hacktiv8, Riza Fahmi. After Abdul graduated from Rumah Belajar, he landed a Front-End Developer gig at PT. Asian Sigma Technology.

“This boot camp changed my mindset that anything is possible with unlimited possibilities, how to manage my time wisely, accept that challenges are not all bad, and don’t get caught in despair because everything has a solution. Failure is not the end. Special thanks to YCAB Foundation for this opportunity,” added Abdul Majid.

Zhavira

With a computer literacy certificate from YCAB Foundation, Zhavira Nurul Hikmah’s first job was as an admin in a dentist’s office. However, she ventured to try a different career path to fight crime that opened new opportunities. She began as a Youtube content creator and admin in one of our nation’s television programs called “The Police”

“Now, I am able to live my dream working in the crime world. Thank you YCAB Foundation!” exclaimed Zhavira Nurul Hikmah.

"Apart from the free survey software, we also have access to QuestionPro's free survey templates.
We've found many of them useful and powerful to collect insights from various stakeholders of our organization."
