In commemorating the World AIDS Day, YCAB Foundation and Chevron Indonesia Company held internal and external campaigns to develop public awareness about HIV/AIDS. The internal campaign targeted to 300 Chevron employees through an internal talk show, while the external campaign targeted to young people and parents via a series of radio talk shows and promotion.
Representatives of I Wanna Live
Four representatives of “I Wanna Live” – a program by YCAB and Chevron came from Garut and Sukabumi to share their experiences about their involvement in the program to educate their peers about HIV/AIDS. Since 2010, YCAB Foundation started to partner with Chevron to build public awareness about the dangers of HIV/AIDS and drugs, as well as to create a group of “I Wanna Live” ambassadors who will disseminate the information about HIV/AIDS to their peers.
