To commemorate the World AIDS Day, Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa (YCAB) and Yayasan Unilever Indonesia held a healthy walk on Sunday (12/04) at Senayan area, Jakarta. The event is a part of Jakarta Stop AIDS, a program by YCAB and Yayasan Unilever Indonesia. About 1,200 students, 200 teachers, and 200 employees of PT. Unilever Indonesia and YCAB took part in this walk. Jakarta Stop Aids aims to build public awareness about the dangers of HIV/AIDS and drugs, as well as to create a group of Jakarta Stop Aids ambassadors who will disseminate the information about HIV/AIDS to their peers. Corporate Secretary PT. Unilever Indonesia Sancoyo Antarikso gave a speech during the World AIDS Day commemoration in FX Plaza, Senayan. Part of the Public Health Education program by PT Unilever Indonesia is to educate the youth in order to promote a clean and healthy lifestyle. Other partners included the Commission on AIDS Prevention and Education Office of DKI Jakarta.
