Jakarta, 15 August 2016 –YCAB foundation (Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa) in its 17th year has impacted more than 3 million youth in Indonesia since 1999. YCAB empowers youth from 10-24 years old through three programs focusing on health, education, and economic empowerment. This year, YCAB ranks #49 in TOP 500 NGOs and is the only NGO from Indonesia to be in the TOP 50.
YCAB Foundation’s achievement was made possible due to support from various parties. On this 17th anniversary, YCAB gave appreciation to three partners who have cooperated and put their focus in supporting YCAB’s programs.
The appreciation was given to Unilever who supports healthy lifestyle program. Another acknowledgement was given to Samsung who have worked along with YCAB to open Rumah Belajar in order to create youth who are job ready. The next appreciation was presented to Microsoft for its contribution in the program associated with employment/entrepreneurship via YouthSpark initiative.

A variety of events were held to inspire and extend the knowledge of Rumah Belajar students. Several of YCAB friends were also participated in the events including J-Flow, Saykoji, Agung Juna (Youtuber), Harsya Subandrio (presenter and announcer), and Gunawan Susanto (CEO IBM Indonesia).
“To top our birthday celebration this year, we will publish a book about 17 inspirational stories from YCAB beneficiaries. This book will be published around September, along with YCAB’s annual event: Angel of Change.” ended by Veronica.
