YCAB Foundation at the New England Indonesian Festival

On Saturday, September 13, 2014, Indonesian student association PERMIAS Massachusetts celebrates its 2nd season of free cultural festival at Copley Square called Batik Keris New England Indonesian Festival.

The event featured live performances of Indonesian dance, drama, and music. It was a weekend activity for families. During the event, there were Indonesian traditional games such as makan krupuk and lomba balap karung. There were booths selling authentic Indonesian food, and arts and crafts.

YCAB Foundation also took part in this event by opening up a booth where people can learn more about the foundation as well as purchase YCAB merchandise to help children go to school.

Highlights of the event include the performances of some of the most well-known Indonesian dances: Wayang Orang Bharatha, Bambosa Angklung Ensemble, Pelangi Kreasindo, and more.
