Jakarta, 7 June 2015 – Global Community Day with Citi was a blast! Dozens of employees from Citibank and their families sewed buttons on elementary school uniform to be donated as a part of “Button Up!!” program. This event was held on June 7th, 2015. Through this event Citibank donated 10,000 uniforms for underprivileged students.

YCAB Foundation become Citi’s partner to distribute these 10,000 uniforms to students in need. The Indonesia Museum of Record (MURI) listed the “Button Up!!” event as a record for the largest number of buttons sewn simultaneously in an event.
Prior to this event, Citibank volunteers gave assistance to students in YCAB Learning Center to learn music and art recently. Finally, our students have a chance to show their talent through band performance, poetry, modern dance, and beat box performance in front audiences approximately 1,000 people, include Citibank employees and their families.
We are glad to be a part of Global Community Day with #CitiVolunteers
