In this community and service activity, my friends and I helped an organization called YCAB in helping them to collect surveys of people concerning of their health and living conditions in the Tanah Abang area so that YCAB will be able to set up a BAKSOS program later on for this community of people. With this we set out early in the morning where we met for a meeting where we were given information of what we were going to do and what we should do for the people there as we start our surveys. We were handed out several question areas for us to use later on as we are interviewing the people there for the survey and we were asked to review them and understand them before we go out to the field and interview these people. Once we were done, we headed out to the Tanah Abang area where these people live in the slums of Jakarta near the dangerous train tracks that are just in front of their houses. As we arrived there, we were warned that there will be fast incoming trains that could come anytime as we are doing our interviews and that we should be careful of it as they are fast and they will be very close to us as we are there. Soon we split up into our groups and then we started our interviews. My partner was Enrico, and as we did our interviews.
