Youth Digital Acceleration with Chris Loh
The program aims to provide underprivileged youth with equal career opportunity to address the issue of high unemployment in youth and lack of digital talent in Indonesia. Through the program, youth will be given access to basic coding along with a career prep workshop which covers necessary training on work-readiness and 21st century skills. The Top 10 participants will receive further intervention and be enrolled in an intensive coding bootcamp. After the completion they will be mentored, coached and connected to employers to obtain employment.

IMCD STEM4Youth
This program aims to inspire young students to explore STEM education through the sponsorship of high school education. The students will be able to connect their interests and skills with potential STEM careers and receive training on new skills and work readiness.
The first phase of the collaboration between PT IMCD Indonesia and YCAB Foundation will cover education costs for 25 YCAB Foundation students along with internet data, health kits, and basic needs supplies. Moreover, a STEM program will be implemented by building the teaching capacity of YCAB teachers. Throughout this phase, PT IMCD Indonesia’s employees will be invited to create interactive classes as a part of the volunteering session. To top off this program, a fully-funded university scholarship will be given to 1 eligible YCAB Foundation student.

PartnerOrica Women Engineers
In Indonesia, females account for only 2% of total students in STEM-based Vocational High Schools. Hence, in YCAB’s collaboration with Orica, an Australian-based multi-national corporation, an engineering program was developed to provide innovative online training and mentorship to 100 high school science teachers and 7,000 female students to inspire them to pursue careers in the STEM industry.

PartnerLautan Luas STEM and Work Readiness
PT Lautan Luas Tbk and YCAB provided education to 100 youth in West Jakarta regarding STEM and work readiness through 24 weeks of training and mentoring. This program focuses on introducing STEM, job readiness, and coding for the 50 best participants.
The program offers activities and modules based on the needs of youth and current trends in the technology industry. After the training, the beneficiary will receive career assistance which aims to enable them to adjust to job interviews, understand the world of work, understand their interests and talents, and make future career choices.

The earthquake that struck Cianjur in late 2022 claimed the lives of 321 people, including ten teachers and 42 students, and displaced 73,874 others. Many students are now studying in tents, which is not an ideal learning environment. As a foundation that is concerned about justice in education, we feel an urgent need to contribute our efforts and lend a hand to the schools that were damaged in the quake.
We will provide intervention to help students get back to learning in school by providing them with the necessary school equipment. With your continued support, we can make a difference in the lives of these students and help them regain access to proper education.

Indonesia’s education shifted to a new normal from face-to-face to online schooling. Marginalized students faced many challenges to continue their education. This included a lack of appropriate devices, accessibility, and connectivity.
Centratama Group provided support for 70 students of YCAB Foundation to continue their online learning by providing them with a year’s education support including devices and internet quota. The gift of hope from Centratama Group is extended to the commitment of their employees to giving back by providing special classes to share about career choices in the professional workplace.

The training program focused on teaching English language and Product Branding capabilities, benefiting 100 MSMEs in Labuan Bajo by helping them improve their business outcomes. Through hybrid intervention (offline and online), the program has empowered participants to communicate verbally in English while further enabling them to pivot their business online.
The program is also part of Mastercard, YCAB Foundation, BRI, Grab and HIN’s commitment to supporting the government’s efforts in developing Labuan Bajo as a super priority destination for tourism and promoting it as a leading tourist destination in Indonesia. With the newly added English Language training, this program has reported a satisfaction rate of 98 percent.

Environmental Social Governance (ESG) training program by raising youth’s awareness on waste-related problems, the effects of climate change, the different types of waste and its disposal management. Furthermore, they are also taught to become social entrepreneurs using the recycling approach, in which they will be directed to recycle waste into attractive products that can be marketed. The training which lasts for 3 months will be assisted by 4 teachers in 2 schools in West Jakarta.
